It's about time New York City had a hawker-center type of food place of its own, and for some of us who are familiar with this Singaporean/Malaysian kind of multifaceted yet easy dining format, Urban Hawker is an answered prayer of sorts.
Lots of food choices here for sure--the many flavors of Southeast Asia, specifically--so I let my wife decide on her all-time favorite, the Hainanese (Roast) Chicken Rice, and for dessert, the Kaya (Coconut-Pandan) Toast.
